About the research

The research starts from the centrality of the communion of saints to examine ethical dilemmas created by the growing use of technology in churches. It discusses the handling of sensitive personal data and members' images, the consequences of irresponsible technology practices for trust and communion, and the relationship between data-protection duties and biblical principles of care and responsibility toward one's neighbour.

Based on Christian ethics as revealed in Scripture, the monograph argues that responsible use of technology is part of Christian ethical commitment. It concludes by proposing guidelines for ethical digital governance aimed at protecting privacy, preserving communion among the saints and maintaining the integrity of Christian witness in an increasingly technological world.
